Choice of switch

Soft Touch Switch

A 2 button soft touch switch for controlling the cruise functions is included. Fully watertight and durable. Mounts directly to standard 22mm handlebars. This option only provides SET and CANCEL functions, No RESUME.

Micro Toggle

We provide a waterproof micro toggle for mounting anywhere. The toggle option only provides SET and CANCEL functions, No RESUME. A 1/4" mounting bracket is provided for mounting onto your bark busters or put the switch directly into the plastics.

Heated Grips, LED lights, and other upgrade compatibility

This kit is not compatibly with aftermarket brake flashers.

This kit is compatibly with aftermarket LED kits.

This kit is compatibly with stock and aftermarket heated grips.

Cruise Stop Conditions

We know its paramount on motorbikes to quickly kill the cruise control in as many situations as possible. Our module will disengage cruise control for any one of the following conditions

Engine RPM signal falls below 1000 or above defined max
Front or Rear Brake Depressed
Throttle grip exceed cruise control by 5%
Any one of the required CANBUS packets are not updated within 100 milliseconds

Configuration

The module has a weather tight USB-C connector for changing various settings such as speed increment size, PID gain, and throttle limits.

Diagnostic Port

This kit uses the diagnostic port of your bike. If you need diagnostics you can simple unplug our module and the kit will still run in bypass mode.

Install Difficulty

To install this kit you must get access to the fuel tank area. About 1 -2 hours install time with proper tools. T-harness will override the throttle signals and diagnostic connector will collect important speed data. This kit also requires a single T-Tap connection into the brake wire.

A must-add to your Transalp

Had my cruise installed by the dealer days before a 4000km trip, very glad I did! Worked perfectly, looks OEM, and saved my wrist/grip. Quality product at a reasonable price, and kudos to Jackson for answering emails in the quickest turnaround I've ever experienced from an aftermarket manufacturer.

Installation was easy, thanks to Veridian guide video on youtube. Cruise control works nice about 2 months now. Waiting my 3 Button Replacement Switch, then it will be perfect.

Now that I'm riding long distances on my motorcycle, I'm starting to get tired arms.

My left arm is much easier thanks to the light clutch and quick shifter, but my right arm gets tired and painful when I continue to do delicate throttle work.

While watching YouTube, I found two companies that sell external cruise controllers.

MCcruise's controller was cool and looked great, but it seemed like it would be extremely difficult to install, so I went with Veridian Cruise.

It was an older model, so it only had Set/Cancel, but it seems like if I buy one from now on, it will also have Resume. It's a bit frustrating...

The automatic canceling functions for throttle operation, brake operation, engine speed, etc. all work properly as instructed, so I think I can ride with peace of mind.

Nice cruise control

Works well. Install was pretty easy. Only complaint is that on hills there is about a 7 mph swing in speed.

Veridian Cruise on Transalp

Veridian was sold out however when I explained I was going on a bucket list trip to north of the Arctic Circle they hand made the harness that was back ordered and I got it 3 days earlier than promised. It was easy to install as I was also installing OEM heated grips and the plastic disassemble was the same for both the instructions and Video made the install easy. Works great holds the speed within 4 km looking forward to the Resume function which I understand will be available September 2024 Great value only issue I had is the transalp has tapered bars and the switch is to be mounted between the brake/ mirror bracket and the throttle because I installed Barkbusters I had to install on the inside where the handlebars taper the clamp is a touch small but worked.
